Hon. Samuel Losuron Poghisio EGH has worked in leadership positions both in community, academic and public sector with a wide exposure in handling a variety of teams and situations. He has been involved in leading large and complex projects with diverse requirements in different parts of Kenya and the world. He has served in government as executive capacity as Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (2000 – 2002) during which, he also was chairman of the Amani (Peace) Forum as well as Assistant Minister for Information and Communication (2008-2013). He also is the Founder Commissioner of the Parliamentary Service Commission as he was a Member of the Speaker Committee. He also has academic experience as a Senior Lecturer at Daystar University. As legislative capacity, Hon, Samuel was Member of Parliament for Kacheliba Constituency. He is the Senator of West Pokot County. He is a holder of two Masters Degrees From Lincoln Christian University and Wheatin College IL, both based in the United States of America. His current focus is on leadership of the deployment of technologies and services targeted at providing effective service delivery mechanisms and processes. He has a good understanding of the aviation sector and the accompanying ecosystem.

Samuel A Nyanchoga is a professor of history and peace studies. He is the current dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, coordinator of the security studies at the Tangaza University College, and a senior research fellow at the Nantes Institute of Advanced Studies, France. He has also served as the Director of the Institute for Regional Integration and Development; Director of academic programmes and HOD History departments. He holds BA Hons, Nairobi University; MA (Hist), Nairobi University; PhD. Kenyatta University; Fulbright Scholar, Boston College, USA. He is a recipient of local and international research awards. He consults with the Kenya National Defense College on security, constitutionalism and terrorism; the AMISOM on the counter-terrorism strategies; stabilization of the interim governments of Juba land and the South West State; Somalia. He serves as an external reviewer for the Commission for University Education; National Cohesion and Integration Commission and the Kenya Human Rights Commission. Mumo Nzau (PhD) is a Fullbright Scholar who holds and MA and PhD in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also holds an MA Degree in International Relations from USIU; in addition to other graduate-level training in the field of Peace and Conflict Studies MMUST. He is a lecturer at the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies at the University of Nairobi; and he has been a Senior Lecturer of Political Science at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and Adjunct Faculty at the United States International University (USIU, Africa); as well as the Department of Political Science and Public Administration-University of Nairobi. Dr. Nzau is a key resource person in the Foreign Affairs, Internal Security and Defence dockets in Kenya. His Consultancy and Research specialities include National Security and Defence Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Management, Governane and Development- areas of specialization on which he has numerous peer-reviewed published works in the form of Books, Book Chapters and Journal Articles. Dr. Mumo Nzau is the author of: Transitional Justice and After: Kenya’s Experience with IDP Resettlement and Peacebuilding since the 2007/08 Post-Elections Violence (Nairobi: CUEA Press, 2016).
Salome has 16 years’ work experience in development and humanitarian contexts in Africa (East, Central and Horn of Africa) and Asia. During this time, Salome has designed and implemented various projects and programs in cross sectoral partnerships with communities, government, private agencies, local and international agencies. Key sectors of her expertise include: Education (formal and non-formal education); Child protection; Conflict, Security and Development; Governance; Youth development; Women’s political participation and enterprise development; Community Driven Development; Resilience; Natural Resource Management; Nutrition; Infrastracture development; and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. Michael Sitawa is a lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Department of Social Sciences and Development Studies. He has a Masters of Arts degree in Sociology (specializing in community development and rural sociology) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences (Major in Sociology and Minor in Political Science). He has a wealth of experience in lecturing in a number of universities across the country both private and public in Kenya. He has a kin interest on gender dynamics in security and urban community crime prevention strategies, which is the area of focus for his Doctorate. In addition to this, he has experience in various research studies which involved baseline studies, surveys and use of participatory approach techniques. He is also a consultant, having worked with the African Union Mission in Somalia on capacity building for Somalia’s Interim government. He has also consulted for the National Council of Churches of Kenya assessing the conflict trends and the effect of the Peace Education Program in the five refugee camps in Dadaab, Northern Kenya. This was since 2003 to 2014 funded by UNHCR and UNICEF.
Brig (Rtd) Foustine O Sirera is an independent Defence and Security Consultant. A PhD candidate in Diplomacy and International Relations and a senior researcher at The Consulting House (Policy Innocation and Security Think Tank) A Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) in Defence and Strategic Studies and a Master of Art (MA) in Defence Studies holder. Professionally, a graduate of National Defence College India, and Kenya Defence Staff College Karen Nairobi. He is a professional military officer who served the state of Kenya diligently before retiring from the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) in 2013 after 34 years of service. In the course of his service, he has held various command and staff appointments among them Command of a Brigade and Chief of Training and Doctrine at Defence Headquarters. His other competences are in the realms of training and doctrine development, conception and operationalization of rapid deployment components, peacekeeping operations, disaster management and civil military relations. Brig Sirera as Commander the 4th Brigade of the KDF was the first commader in charge of its operations in Somalia (Operation Linda Nchi). He also commanded and helped develop the Kenya Rapid Deployment Capability (KRDC/6 Brigade Kenya Defence Forces) as part of the East African Standby Force (EASF) asset. He participated in policy formulation/strategic planning and development of military training programmes. His last local posting was at the Department of Defence (DoD) where he was chief of training and doctrine (TRADOC). He also commands competence in peacekeeping having served in ex-Yugoslavia and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Major Gen [Rtd] Robb is a Marine Engineer who served with Kenya Navy for over 30 years. Gen Robb Commanded Naval Technical Wing and Naval Logistics Command of the KN. He worked as Col Naval Requirements at MOD. He is a Graduate of National Defence College. He served at NDC as Naval Directing Staff. He also headed Ministerial Tender Board at MOD. He supervised construction of KN Ships in UK and on completion sailed the Ships to Kenya as Chief Engineer. While in KDF he was awarded CBS EBS Dip [Nwc] USA and psc K. Gen Robb has been a Board Member of Kenya Maritime Authority. He is a Consultant in Maritime Authority.
